Gucci Jackie

Here you'll find pre-owned Gucci Jackie bags, from vintage models to the Jackie 1961. The Jackie is a half-moon shoulder bag with a metal piston clasp. Gucci launched it in the 1960s, and it takes its name from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who often carried it. Since 2020 there's been the Jackie 1961 reissue in several sizes.

Vintage Jackie or Jackie 1961

Older Jackie models are usually bigger and softer, often in smooth leather, Guccissima leather or GG canvas. The Jackie 1961 is more compact, has a detachable shoulder strap and also comes as a Mini. The exact dimensions of each bag are on the product page.

What to look for when buying

Check that the piston clasp clicks shut properly. Take a look at the strap attachments, the edges and the lining. With canvas, rubbing and discolouration show first at the corners and on the underside. Inside, the bag has a leather tag with a serial number.
