Mehr über Fendi

Here you'll find vintage and second hand bags from Fendi: shoulder bags, top handle bags and wallets in leather and Zucca canvas. Every piece is one of a kind, checked for authenticity by experts and described with an honest condition grade.

Roman craftsmanship since 1925

Adele and Edoardo Fendi opened a leather and fur shop in Rome in 1925. Their five daughters carried on the house. In 1965 they brought in Karl Lagerfeld, who worked for Fendi for more than fifty years and designed the FF logo, also known as Zucca. Silvia Venturini Fendi, a granddaughter of the founders, created the Baguette in 1997, one of the bags that defined the look of the late 1990s.

Materials at a glance

Zucca canvas shows the large FF pattern, Zucchino the smaller version. Both are tough and easy to care for. Selleria is strong leather with visible, hand-set stitching. Nappa leather is soft and smooth. On top of that there's shearling, fur, embroidery, sequins and velvet, especially on the Baguette, which comes in a huge number of versions.

Popular models

The Baguette is so small that it's carried under the arm like a baguette. The Mamma Baguette is its bigger sister. The Peekaboo is a top handle bag with two compartments and a turn-lock, the By The Way a soft bowling bag with a detachable strap. The Spy Bag, the Kan I with its emblem clasp and vintage bags in Zucca canvas are also in demand. Many vintage models from the 1990s are simpler and easy to combine with newer pieces. If you're looking for something special, there are Baguette versions with beads, embroidery or fur.

Sizes at a glance

The Baguette comes as Nano, Mini, in the classic size and as Large. The Peekaboo comes as Mini, Regular and Large, the smaller versions usually with an extra shoulder strap. The exact dimensions are given in the description of each item.

Which Fendi suits you?

For everyday use, bags in Zucca canvas are a good choice because they can take a lot. The Baguette is great for going out and as a statement with simple outfits, under the arm or on the shoulder with a long strap. The Peekaboo is a bag for the office, the By The Way an easy-going companion for every day. Compare the dimensions in the description with a bag you already own. And if something doesn't work out after all, you get 14-day returns (EU).

What to look for when buying

On canvas bags, the edges and leather trims show wear first. On the Baguette, it's worth checking the buckle, embroidery and sequins; on the Peekaboo, the turn-lock. Vintage pieces often have a fabric or leather label and a serial number inside, but on its own that's no proof of authenticity. You'll find care tips in Caring for your designer bag.
